Mt. Elbert North Gullies

These NW gullies off Mt. Elbert are very dangerous and should only be skiied if you're sure they're filled in, and if the avalanche danger is low. The skier's left (South) gully is also known as the South Halfmoon Couloir and is the least extreme of these two very steep options. They lead down to South Halfmoon Creek.
