Figure 8s

This open face with rocks and trees on Ptarmigan Hill is just skier's right of Avalanche Bowl and exits into the bottom runout of the bowl. The pitch is in the mid 20's, but the danger from slides is high, especially during that exit when you are immediately below a huge avalanche chute that could remote trigger on you from above (or be triggered by other skiers; it's a popular area)
