Endless Couloir

A very long and dangerous North facing couloir that drops down into Granite Canyon. Avalanche threat is extreme in this whole zone and a wrong turn could lead to deadly cliffs. Wind slabs frequently form in the chute and can exist in small isolated portions midway down. After the run, you can take the long exit out Granite Canyon back to the resort, an exit route that is threatened by other avalanche paths above it. Never drop into a zone in the backcountry when other people are still in it down below you. If you see fresh tracks going in, you should wait until you know the whole couloir is clear of people, or choose another objective.
