Atlantis Couloir

A very steep E-SE facing couloir off Atlantic Peak. Like the V Couloirs, there is rockfall danger along with avalanche danger and it can be wise to hike up somewhere safer, as long as you’re aware of the snowpack on the face. It’s best to approach from McCullough Gulch rather than Mayflower Gulch– you want to get a look at the East-Southeast facing snowpack before you decide whether to ski or ride it, or even climb it.
